Long Class: Celtic Tatting Wizardry

Pre-requisites/Level: Mastery of tatted rings, split rings, chains, and joins at the intermediate level. Evenly made reasonably tight tatting. If you have not mastered split rings you should not take this class, No basic instruction will be offered. Needle tatters must be sufficiently advanced to be comfortable tatting on their own.

Materials required:
Tatting shuttles (2) or tatting needles or finger tatting
Thread – Butterfly colors in solids and variegated size 20 or larger
Hook if there is not one on your shuttle.
Scissors, or thread cutter.
Celtic Tatting Knots & Patterns book, if you have it. If not, instructions will be provided in class by the instructor.

Summary:
This class will present additional tricks for Celtic Knot tatting. Through tatting some butterflies I will share my experience, and additional tips & tricks to do better Celtic Knot tatting.


Short class: Beginning Celtic Flower

Pre-requisites/Level: Mastery of tatted rings, chains, and joins at the beginner level.

Materials required:
Tatting shuttles (2) or tatting needles or finger tatting
Thread – Flower colors in solids or variegated size 20 or larger
Hook if there is not one on your shuttle.
Scissors, or thread cutter.
Celtic Tatting Knots & Patterns book, if you have it. If not, instructions will be provided in class by the instructor. We will tat the small flower in the book, and time permitting, rosebuds, and, easy “no counting stitches” Celtic tatted roses.
