Class 2 with Nina Libin
Designing Jeweled Lace, Saturday, 9:00 to 12:30
Shuttle, Intermediate to Advanced, Design

Description
The main purpose of the class is to design jewelry patterns considering shape, color, size of beads, and the occasion/event where it will be worn. Helpful tips will be shared on how to change the outline and/or fill in negative space in a few ornaments.

You will make a few samples to see the difference between adding beads to existing tatting design and designing for bead tatting before starting the project of your choice (a necklace, a pendant, or a pair of earrings). The handouts will be available for all three projects.

After the break you will try designing your own jewelry to match the piece you have started, and using ideas, techniques, and helpful tips covered in class.
