(These directions are supposed to be the easier routes, not necessarily the shortest routes.)

From the Holiday Inn (Directions)
Ride the Trolley or

(Mileage approximate)
Turn LEFT onto Chris Drive
Turn LEFT onto Hwy. 1
Move over to Right lane (Pass Walmart)
Stay on Hwy 1, Meeting Street, for about 2 miles.
Cross River. Becomes Gervais Street.
Another mile will pass State Capital Complex.
1 more mile, turn RIGHT onto Bull Street at WIS TV.
At end, 2 blocks, the museum will be directly in front of you.
You may park here on the side of the building and the meters will not be checked on Saturday on the USC campus.
Or, there is a parking garage across the street, too.

From Spartanburg
Come down I-26
After I-20, move into LEFT lane.
Stay straight on I-126 into downtown Columbia.
Stay in LEFT lanes. Becomes Elmwood.
Move into Right hand lane.
Elmwood dead ends into Bull Street and take a RIGHT on Bull Street.
At end, about 11 blocks, you will be at the side of the museum.

From Charleston
Come up I-26
Approximately mile marker 106, take I-126 into downtown Columbia.
Stay in LEFT lanes. Becomes Elmwood.
Move into Right hand lane.
Elmwood dead ends into Bull Street and take a RIGHT on Bull Street.
At end, about 11 blocks, you will be at the side of the museum.

From Augusta, GA
Come up I-20
Take I-26 toward Columbia.
Move over to LEFT lanes.
Will go straight into downtown Columbia on I-126.
Stay straight on I-126 into downtown Columbia.
Stay in LEFT lanes. Becomes Elmwood.
Move into Right hand lane.
Elmwood dead ends into Bull Street and take a RIGHT on Bull Street.
At end, about 11 blocks, you will be at the side of the museum.

From Charlotte
Come down I-77
Approximately at the 18 mile marker, take Hwy. 277 toward Columbia.
Will turn into Bull Street at the Red Cross Building, and it will take you downtown.
At end, about 11 blocks, you will be at the side of the museum.

From Florence
Come down I-20.
Approximately at the 73 mile marker, get onto Hwy. 277 into Columbia.
Will turn into Bull Street at the Red Cross Building, and it will take you downtown.
At end, about 11 blocks, you will be at the side of the museum.
