Palmetto Tatters Guild announces its

1st Annual Tat Day

on the campus of the University of South Carolina

What makes this Tat Day unique?

  • Classes will be held for beginners, intermediate and advanced tatters.
  • There is also an OPEN tatting “competition” to be judged by Dianna Stevens of Washington. Dianna is well known in the tatting community and has been the principal tatting judge for State Fair in Washington as well as regional fairs in Alaska.
  • Entry pieces are welcomed from all around the tatting globe.  You do not have to be present to enter a piece of your tatting.

How much is the registration?
$20.00 advance registration (before March 25th), $25.00 at the door

Can I get tatting supplies there?
There will be a number of vendors present — local and regional

Exhibits of Vintage tatting and an EXCITING tat-off!!!

Who are the instructors?
A number of known instructors will be present including Waleska Sosa (Rome, GA), Dianna Stevens (Kent, WA), Joy Critchfield (Irmo, SC). Others to be announced!!

8:00 – 8:30 am            Registration
9:00 am – noon           Classes
Noon – 2:00 pm          Lunch, Judging, Door prizes & more …
2:00 – 5:00 pm            Classes

Special Notes
No Cameras inside: We will have an official photographer at the event to take LOTS of pictures for all of us. Other cameras will not be allowed inside the museum, museum rules, but you may take as many as you like outside. Thank you for your cooperation.
