Level 2

Need to Know: Rings, Chains, Joins and Split Rings.

Will Learn: See how neat it is to do split rings with 2 colors.

Materials and Preparation
2 shuttles with 2 yards of white on each shuttle (total 4 yards), CTM.
1 shuttle with 4 yards of black.
1 more empty shuttle.
Size 20 thread works well.
1 Bead for eye-not too small but small. (Donna will have some in class you can choose from.)
Good light for seeing the black thread.
Sticky note or ruler to follow along on pattern to keep place in pattern.
Crochet hook for joining. Donna likes the .9mm.
Paper clip. (May get one in your "goodie bag.")

Saturday morning Early Bird class-All Invited.

Need to know: Rings, Chains and Joins. Split rings helpful.

Will Learn: FUN way to work with beads including adding beads while tatting. Split rings.

Materials and Preparation
2 Shuttles with 2.5 yards on each shuttle (total 5 yards) wound CTM (Continuous Thread Method-One long thread with 2.5 yards on one shuttle and the other with 2.5 yards and do NOT cut in between).
Any color thread. Size 20 works well.
32 beads size 10 or 11. Plus one flat bead 1cm (4/10”) wide. Put 8 beads on Shuttle 1.
16 beads on Shuttle 2. Keep all beads fairly close to the start-center of long thread where tatting will begin. Plus 8 more beads to add to picots as you tat. Any color beads that go with your thread.

Small crochet hooks for joining and adding bead to picot.
Donna likes .9mm and .4 mm.
2 paper clips (provided in goodie bag).

Bead Kit will be available for $1 in vending with 36 beads and a center bead for size 20 thread. (You provide the thread.)

2 Shuttles with 2 yards on each shuttle (total 4 yards) wound CTM. Any color thread. Size 20 works well.
168 beads size 10 or 11: Have 1 bead on Shuttle 2 to start. (Yes. Just one bead on the thread.) Any color beads that go with your thread.
Small crochet hooks for joining and adding beads to picot. Donna likes .9mm and .4 mm.
1 paper clip.
