Level I - Shuttle and Needle
Description: The student will use a single shuttle or tatting needle #7 to make a beautiful pair of earrings. This is a great project for the beginner bead tatter!
Skills Required: Rings and the use of metallic thread and beads.
Techniques taught: Concept of ‘up’ and ‘down’ beads and tatting with metallic thread.
Materials Needed / Pre-class Preparation: Metallic thread, beads size 8, one shuttle or tatting needle #7.
Kit: Optional. Cost for class participant is $9.00, for non-participant $10.00.
Kit will include 3 ply metallic embroidery thread, beads size 8, earring findings and beading needle. Please contact the teacher for color choices.
