LUNCH on Thursday, Sept 5, 2018: Downtown Toccoa. X-Factor/Cornerstone Café at 27 Doyle Street, Toccoa, GA.
It is 1/2 way down the block or enter the antique store on the corner and go upstairs.
Noon to 1:00ish. If you eat with us, you may be asked to help with setup.

Weekend Games and Competitions

 

Display of Tatting -"Eye Candy" says Martha Ess: Our tatting display is always wonderful! PLAN NOW to be a part of it this year! Show off your handiwork.

Friendly Competition: Bring your tatting to the Gathering Room/Registration Room before Friday at 3:00.  Voting slips are in your folder (KNOTS are in their bags). Prizes will be awarded. Voting closes at 10:45 am Saturday.  Winners announced around lunch.

If you want to pick up a piece of tatting, please be respectful and use the provided white gloves and handle with care.  

You are responsible for your tatting.  Pick-up is on Saturday evening.

 

2) "Tatting Tail Tales" - What is your tatting short story? Type it, print it, share it (12 point or larger font, 1 page). Or maybe you have a book that has a great tatting tale. Mark the page and bring it!

Sample Menu for the weekend (from 2018). Each meal is served buffet style. Many, many choices available at each meal. The actual meals are subject to change.

BANQUET: We LOVE our banquet on Friday evenings! Some will dress up for the Banquet (nice "church" clothes).

We always have have great food, fun and fellowship! Do join us. Cost is just $18.

Mediterranean Chicken - Grilled chicken smothered in a tomato sauce with artichokes, black olives, ham and capers
Maryland Stuffed Sea Bass - A Conference Center favorite - sea bass filet filled with a cornbread dressing
Yellow Rice Pilaf, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Black Eye Peas
Italian Caesar Salad, Broccoli Salad
Chocolate Goodness Cake or Old Fashioned Strawberry Fruit Cobbler
Hot bread, ice tea, water and coffee service.

LIVE AUCTION at Tat Days:
After the Banquet, we will move to our "gathering room" for auction FUN with Georgia!
There will be some GRAND items auctioned off, Friday night around 9:00.
