Hi all:

Those of us that made the meeting had an enjoyable time. We missed all of you and hope to see you at the next meeting, the last Saturday in Feb. (the 23rd). We discussed moving the meeting and have decided to keep on meeting at the Lexington County Library for the time being. We will keep the other sites we found out about for future possibilities.

Butterflies that are being made for this year's state fair giveaway can be turned in at future meetings or held until after the summer. Some have already been turned in so keep on making them. We have not discussed a goal for this year but how do you feel about going for 3000? That's just 300 more than we got and made this year. Or should we set our goal higher. Send your input - each of us is important to the guild.

For the local tatters we would like to do a one time event at the new Michaels which is opening up on Two Notch Road in the Spring Valley area on a week day night to see if there is any interest - and as a chance to check out their new facilities. (It might become a regular thing but that is not in the works just yet.)  We might get people to drop in to learn how to tat. If you are interested let Joy know what day would be best in your mind or why you think a day would not work. (To out of town tatters: we are not restricting this to in town tatters but are concerned about your driving in and then leaving and getting home late with having to work the next day.)
