Service Description
Description: We will be learning the alternate thread technique. There will be a discussion for the first part of class discussing the ShuttleBrothers’ technique. Thought behind the technique and application of the technique. After exploring the possibilities, we will make a 6 pointed motif. Skills Required: Basic Tatting Skills (Rings, Chains, Picots, Chains) Methods or Technique for Class: Alternate Thread use, Thrown-off rings, and Working w/2 shuttles Supplies Needed: 2 shuttles with hooks or 2 shuttles and a crochet hook. Wind each shuttle with 3 ½ yards of thread, 2 different colors Pre-Class Preparation: Wind 3.5 yd thread onto each shuttle, different colors on each. Cut away from the balls Kit: No Notes: I do not know if this can be done by needle. Must be very good at needle tatting to attempt this project. May require the use of two separate needles
