Our Mission:
Promote the craft of tatting and spread it like kudzu across the South!

Description: Practice self-closing mock rings with the occasional use of split chains for bridging.

Skills required: Rings, chains, lock joins

Techniques taught: Beading with SCMR. Navigating a pattern with a beaded Split chain/SCMR.

Materials needed: 4 yards size 20 Liz Metallic thread in desired color. Fifteen (15) 4mm beads. Shuttle, crochet hook for slipping beads over two thicknesses of thread, standard tatting kit.

Pre-class preparation: Wind 1.5 yards CTM on shuttle. Beads will be applied as work progresses.

Kit: No.
Note: I find hackle pliers to be especially helpful for these techniques.
