I have taught tatting at Camp Wanna Tat, Shuttlebirds, Palmettos, Lacemakers of Puget Sound and IOLI. I have also had the pleasure of teaching several times in Japan. I enjoy demonstrating and sharing my love of tatting wherever I go.
I’ve loved sewing and needlework since I was very young. My Aunt Stella taught me to tat the winter of 1987 after which I began collecting shuttles. In 2002 I self-published a book entitled “Tatting Shuttles of American Collectors.” I love giving lectures and classes on the subject. In 2017 with the permission of Dora Young’s grandson I republish her 1974 book “All New Knotless Tatting Designs” with the addition of her biography. And In 2018, with Pam Palmer’s blessing, I produced her final book of unpublished designs called “Tatting Designs”.
