A few simple techniques can enable the tatter to create a wider variety of jewelry pieces. Using cord, the student will learn how to create slide necklaces with cord and bead knotting using bead cord and tweezers.
Materials Needed / Preparation: Students are encouraged to bring precision-point tweezers which are widely available in big-box and drug stores (the slant-point variety are not friendly to the bead knotting technique). Bring your imagination. I'll supply the rest. There will be a variety of materials to choose from. The dainty necklace in the photograph cost less than $0.23 to make.
