Description: We will create an artist tatting card that spotlights your own unique tatting. You will learn the history of artist trading cards, how to spontaneously tat a botanical theme, decorate an artist tatting card (2.5” x 3.5”), and the best ways to highlight your tatting in art.
Skills required: Rings, chains, imagination
Techniques taught: Spontaneous tatting, creating an Artist Tatting Card, attaching tatting to paper.
Materials needed: Small bits of tatting (smaller than 2” x 3”), shuttles with thread to use up, fabric glue (Fabric Fusion Pen, Fabric-Tac, Tear Mender, etc.)
