Witch Broom in Turkish Tatting

In this class we will make a witch's broom using Turkish tatting techniques. Students should be comfortable with rings, chains, picots, joins, and unflipped stitches/ reverse stitches/ untatted stitches. This broom also utilizes cut picots.
Materials Needed and Preparation: Size 20, 30, or 40 thread in a dark yellow gold and brown. (Sample used Olympus Special gold 40.) Two shuttles, scissors, pen or pencil or note taking items, locking crochet stitch marker or coil-less safety pin or loop of thread in larger size and bright color.
