Each applicant is asked to attach a brief (500 words or less) essay answering the following questions:
Why are you applying for this scholarship?
How did you become interested in tatting?Include the length of time you have been tatting.
What do you hope to learn at Tat Days if awarded a scholarship?
How has tatting affected your life?
Ways in which you have provided or plan to provide service to Tat Days or to the Palmetto Tatters Guild? (examples: as a teacher, teaching assistant, Tat Days Committee help, or contributor of items for fundraising, etc.)
Your involvement in teaching or demonstrating tatting; any experiences with entering in tatting in public displays or competitions.
