Tat Days Scholarship Information
The Palmetto Tatters Guild (PTG) is a volunteer organization with a mission to promote the craft of tatting. To fulfill this mission, a scholarship fund has been established to support tatters who may not otherwise be able to participate in the annual Tat Days event.

SCHOLARSHIP RULES, LIMITATIONS, AND DISCLAIMERS:
-
The Tat Days Scholarship Committee is appointed annually by the President of the Guild. The Committee will comprise at least two members in good standing (as defined as regular participation and paid dues).
-
The PTG Scholarship Committee will keep all information submitted on applications confidential and use it solely to determine awards.
-
Tat Days Scholarships are awarded based on information submitted on the application form and the requested essay.

-
The completed online application with the essay attached will be submitted to the PTG Tat Days Scholarship Committee.
-
The application must be submitted by midnight July 10 of the current year.
-
Scholarships are awarded for each PTG Tat Days. The awards are available for the current year's Tat Days event only. The number and dollar amount of the scholarships is based on available funds. The award includes registration, accommodation, and meals.
-
The Silent Auction at Tat Days, fundraisers, and specified donations support the scholarship fund. The funds will be retained for the following Tat Days event if scholarships are neither requested nor awarded.
-
You should register for your classes immediately and wait to remit payment until you have been informed of the scholarship committee's decision. This action will afford you a better chance to register for your first choice of classes.

Unless you indicate otherwise, the Scholarship Committee or designee (Event Registrar) will contact you using the EMAIL ADDRESS you provide.
