This year marks my half-century of tatting, and it’s still one of my all-time favorite activities…Truly, what I like best about tatting is the other people who do it too! Tatting has seen me through great times and hard ones, like knee replacement surgery, which would have been 90 minutes of extreme boredom if I hadn’t been planning a pattern in my head. (It didn’t work). I designed patterns for and published Tatting Times for 30 of those years; I’ve now got 35 pattern collections in print and continue to design and work on new patterns.
